Love, Serve & Succeed® MODULE THREE: LEGAL ISSUES AND ASSET PROTECTION (June 06, 2012)

Description:

Eighty percent of physicians are sued at some time in their career; 52% of resulting awards exceed $1 million. As the acupuncture profession grows in stature and prominence, practitioners’ need for greater sophistication in legal setup and asset protection is increasingly important. Unfortunately, most acupuncturists still practice as sole proprietors, and do not realize how much at risk their practices and personal assets are in today’s litigious culture. In this essential seminar, clinicians will learn what forms of legal setup work and why, and what legal tools will preserve their assets, even if they lose a lawsuit of any size.

Goals and Objectives:

Learn the steps to effective asset protection

Understand the importance and specifics of written business agreements

Know the essentials of non-compete and non-solicit agreements

Appreciate the need for legal setup

Nutripuncture comes to Tri-State (June 09, 2012)

Nutripuncture, is ground-breaking science from France developed with over 30 years of intensive research. It utilizes trace amounts of minerals which directly affect the vital currents (meridians) and organs of the body. Combinations of trace minerals stimulate the meridians and organs to auto-regulate and return to a healthy state. Healthy meridians and organs equal a healthy body and mind. This approach is based upon and inspired by Georges Lakhovsky’s demonstration that carefully formulated poly-metallic circuits can create oscillations which dramatically energize plants and living organisms by protecting them from disease.

Dr. Veret’s multi-disciplinary expertise naturally led him to create products drawing from knowledge and efficiency of Western, Homeopathic, and Traditional Chinese medicines including the original innovation -- Yin & Yang - Master Cellular Regulator, followed by 38 specific formulas to energize, balance and nourish each of the 12 primary and 26 secondary meridians in the body.

            $ 75 for Students

A total of at least 6 and up to 8 PDA's for this informative day.

A Wholistic Approach to Improving Cardiovascular Health

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the number one cause of death in the world. The greatest unnecessary disease of our time, it affects 81.1 million adult Americans (1 in 3, 25.7% of the entire population). There are some 850,000 deaths per year in the US alone. The World Health Organization estimates 12 million deaths per year worldwide–every second death globally is cardiovascular in men and women. It includes hypertension (30 million people in the US),
coronary artery disease (heart attack and angina pectoris), stroke (3 million people in the US), congestive heart failure, and congenital cardiovascular defects. Costs to manage this disease in the US are well over $300 billion annually. Exploding disease management costs in the US are one of the greatest barriers to national economic health.
CVD is essentially a deficiency condition. In nearly every person it is an unnecessary, preventable and reversible lifestyle-based condition. Improvements in nutrition, physical activity and social/relational health are safer and more effective than pharmaceutical interventions which, characteristically, do nothing to address the root cause of the condition, and merely suppress symptoms while allowing underlying causal factors to worsen. This
remarkable seminar demystifies CVD, provides clear insights into its causes, and gives clinicians powerful diet, lifestyle and natural medicine tools to prevent and reverse this devastating condition. Popular myths surrounding the alleged evils of cholesterol are soundly debunked, while offering far more relevant laboratory assessment tools for assessing CV disease risk.
Because of the staggering prevalence of this needless disease, this is one of the most important and practical seminars available today. What you will learn from this lecture will help you treat and prevent CVD in your patients and community, preventing suffering and premature death for perhaps thousands of people.

Seminar Goals & Objectives

1. Review cardiovascular physiology and pathology
2. Explore current epidemiological and economic statistics related to CVD and other leading
causes of death
3. See through the lies and myths around the alleged evils of cholesterol
4. Clinically relevant laboratory evaluation
5. Learn approaches to diet, exercise and lifestyle to treat and prevent CVD
6. Know how to use herbal and nutritional medicine effectively to benefit patients with
cardiovascular disease, and those who would like to prevent it

Optimal Reproductive Health for Men and Women
According to CDC, 12% of US women of childbearing age have impaired fertility, with 7.3 million using drug‑based fertility services. Fertility doctors estimate that 20% of infertility related to the male partner. Impaired reproductive health has many contributing factors,
including nutritional deficiencies, toxicity, stress and exhaustion. This seminar will offer practical approaches to optimizing reproductive health in both men and women, using diet, lifestyle and natural medicine.

In this seminar, you will:
1. Review male and female physiology and understand how nutritional deficiencies
affect reproductive health
2. Understand how body toxicity, stress and exhaustion contribute to lowered fertility
3. Learn how to effectively use natural medicines along with lifestyle enhancements
to improve fertility in both men and women

"The most brilliant, concise, penetrating synthesis of Taoist cycles ever done. Suddenly I Ching trigrams, ten-stem/twelve-branch Chinese calendar, yin-yang, five-phase, twelve hour body-clock and six channel medical theories all leap into sharp, unified focus. More amazingly, Twicken turns theory into easily grasped 'how-to' practice. Finally we have a clear map of Taoist body channels, natural models of healing and life-balance that acupuncturists, taiji and qigong players, energy healers, and feng shui and astrology adepts cannot do without."
